HOSTED COURSES
Hosted courses in New Westminster are held on the last weekend of each month, accommodating up to 12 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Starting from January 2024, the schedule shifts to the first weekend of every month.
PRIVATE GROUP COURSE
In addition to our hosted courses, we also provide private courses for groups of 6-12 students at a location of your choice within the Lower Mainland*.

ABOUT US
Recon Firearms Training provides the Canadian Firearms Programs Non-Restricted (NR) and Restricted (R) Courses, essential for obtaining your Canadian Firearm Possession and Acquisition License (PAL). We offer monthly hosted classes, as well as private courses for groups of 4-12 individuals at a location of your choosing within Metro Vancouver/Fraser Valley.​
TERRY LIM | Owner & Instructor
Recon Firearms Training is a small business owned and operated by Terry Lim, an RCMP designated instructor of the Canadian Firearms Safety Program. He is a long time Range Safety Officer at a major firearms range in the Lower Mainland and has a background in competition shooting, hunting, and coaching. He offers courses in a low pressure, ego free environment.
We believe in approaching firearms with respect and not fear.
